Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 11 Jun 2011 08:55:20 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity is expected to be very low during the next 24 hours. NOAA 1234 is in decay phase but maintaining a beta magnetic configuration. The other regions on the visible disk are either spotless or have a very simple alpha magnetic classification. A weak B-class x-ray event is possible today. The position of NOAA 1234 on June 11 at 10:30 UT is: S16E37 (Solar X = -548", Solar Y = -268") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
