Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 29 Jun 2011 09:23:31 -0700 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, There were a series of mid-B class flares yesterday that were produced by NOAA AR 11240, now on the west limb and 11243 - yesterday's target in the north east quadrant. A new region, AR 11242 has emerged quickly at disk center. Continued growth at this rate, with the level of complexity it is already showing would mean high chance of some C-class or even M-class activity in the coming days. The position of NOAA 11242 on 29-Jun-2011 15:30 UT is: N18W12 ( 187", 251" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
