Subject: MM#017 ROSA Flare Observing Date: Thu, 7 Jul 2011 13:45:46 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Apologies for the additional email. A newly emerging active region in the northeast quadrant was the source of a B6.3 flare at 11:05 UT today. This will now be ROSA's target region for today. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it appears to be developing rapidly. Good chance for increased activity over the next 24 hours if the region continues to develop. The position of the target region on 7-Jul-2011 at 11:00 UT is: N15E67, (-840", 222" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
