Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 16 Jul 2011 08:26:36 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. NOAA 1250 is in decay phase. The target will switch to NOAA 1254. 1254 is currently a D-type/beta sunspot group. It has the potential to produce B-class events. No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1254 on July 16 at 10:30 UT is: S22E43 (Solar X = -598", Solar Y = -402") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
