Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 7 Aug 2011 09:16:07 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target region NOAA 1263 is a large E-type/beta-gamma region. 1263 was the source of several minor C-class events in the past 24 hour period. New flux rapidly developed in the trailing portion of 1263 - current EFR location is N18W43. This new region is too close to 1263 to consider it a separate region. C-class activity expected today with an increasing chance of an isolated M-class event. The position of NOAA 1263 on August 07 at 10:30 UT is: N18W48 (Solar X = 670", Solar Y = 226") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
