Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Activity levels have been low over the past 24 hours with only minor B class flares produced. A new region - NOAA 11273 - has emerged in the south west quadrant and appears to be reasonably simple and compact at this time. NOAA 11272 remains largely unchanged and may still be the source of some mid size flares. NOAA 11271 will continue to be the target of choice today. It is holding its large, complex structure and retains its beta-gamma-delta classification.

The position of NOAA 11271 on 19-Aug-2011 15:30 UT is:

N16E29 ( -443", 165" )
