Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 23 Aug 2011 09:33:41 -0700 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains low with one C class flare in the past 24 hours, produced by NOAA 11271. Given that all regions on disk appear to be decaying and 11271 remains the only region with multiple, large penumbral sunspots and a beta-gamma classification, it shall continue to be todays target. C class activity may be possible. The position of NOAA 11271 on 23-Aug-2011 15:30 UT is: N17W25 ( 384", 176" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
