Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2011 09:34:19 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1271 has decayed somewhat in overall sunspot area and count but still remains a large E-type sunspot group and reclaimed a beta-gamma magnetic classification. B-class events are probable with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event. There is only a very slight, <10%, chance of an M-class event in the next few days. The position of NOAA 1271 on August 25 at 15:30 UT is: N17W51 (Solar X = 707", Solar Y = 205") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
