The largest C-class event was a C2.3 at 08/26/13:13 UT. 1271 has decayed significantly but could still produce B-class events with a chance of another C-class event before west limb passage. The position of NOAA 1271 on August 26 at 10:30 UT is: N17W62 (Solar X = 802", Solar Y = 223") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
