MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region, NOAA 1281, added a few more spots and increased magnetic complexity slightly. Its sunspot group is currently classified D-type/beta-gamma. The largest event in the past 24 hour period was a C2.0 at 09/01/12:45 UT produced by NOAA 1283 (N12E52). Both 1281 and 1283 should produce additional C-class events with even a very slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next few days.

The position of NOAA 1281 on September 01 at 15:30 UT is: S20E19 (Solar X = -291", Solar Y = -429")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
