NOAA 11289 continues to dominate the visible hemisphere but remains relatively quiescent. NOAA 11283 shall be the target region for a further 24 hours until it rotates over the western limb. Further C-level activity expected with slight chance for an isolated M-class flare. The position of NOAA 11283 on 12-Sep-2011 at 09:30 UT is: N14W90, ( 925", 228" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
