MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1330 has new opposite polarity flux emerging just to the northeast of its large leader sunspot. The region's sunspot group is now classified E-type/beta-gamma. If development continues, it could result in M-class activity. Former target NOAA 1324 (N21W61) has switched from decay phase to growth phase and was the source of two C-class events. Recently emerged NOAA 1333 (N16E03) has a beta-gamma magnetic configuration with the potential to produce C-class events. Target region 1330 is expected to produce C-class activity with the chance of M-class activity if development continues.

The position of NOAA 1330 on October 28 at 15:45 UT is: N08W04 (Solar X = 066", Solar Y = 055")
