Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2011 16:23:13 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11330) has continued to decrease in both size and number of spots. A new and currently unnumbered region has rotated over the North-East limb, producing an M1.1 flare on 31-Oct-2011 at 14:55 UT. Proximity to the limb prevents accurate determination of its magnetic classification, but the region is bipolar. C-class activity is expected, with a chance for another M-class event. The approximate position of this region on 31-Oct-2011 at 16:30 UT is: N18E71, ( -869", 275" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
