NOAA 11387 retains its beta-gamma configuration and has produced a couple of low level events since the last message. However, a new region appearing on the southeast limb has produced several C-class flares in the past 24 hours including a C6.7 at 21:46 UT yesterday. This shall be the new target region with further intermediate level activity expected. The approximate position of the target regionĀ on 28-Dec-2011 at 11:30 UT is: S23E82, ( -889", -375" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
