NOAA 11416 and 11417 have produced a number of minor B class flares. The leader spot of NOAA 11416 now contains two inverted polarity spots within the one penumbral region and will continue to be today's target. Activity levels are not expected to increase. The position of NOAA 11416 on 16-Feb-2012 14:00 UT is: S19 W63, ( 819", -264" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
