Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains at a low level. NOAA region 11422 has continued to increase in spot area, number of spots, and complexity. This region has developed minor spots with partial penumbrae between the leading and following spot groups. NOAA 11422 produced several B-class events in the past 24 hours with a C1.0 event on 21-Feb-2012 at 11:42 UT, and is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. Further C-class activity is possible in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11422 on 22-Feb-2012 at 10:30 UT is:

N15W30, ( 467", 350" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
