Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2012 11:35:55 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA region 11432 has been confirmed as the source of the M1.8 flare on 15-Mar-2012 at 07:23 UT, meaning that it has produced two low M-class events in as many days. The spots in 11432 are quite widely distributed and after some merging of spots it is now classed as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. More C-class activity is expected, with a chance for another M-class event. The position of NOAA 11432 on 16-Mar-2012 at 11:30 UT is: N14W19, ( 311", 342" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
