Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 17 Mar 2012 11:01:37 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA region 11432 appears to be in decay phase, decreasing in spot area coverage and increasing in number of spots. Recently numbered NOAA 11435 has experienced a significant degree of flux emergence between the leading and trailing spots since a beta/D-type sunspot group classification was issued on 17-Mar-2012 at 00:30 UT. A good chance exists for C-class activity, especially if 11435 continues to undergo flux emergence. The position of NOAA 11435 on 17-Mar-2012 at 11:00 UT is: S25W30, ( 437", -312" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
