Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 21 Apr 2012 11:19:35 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target EFR, NOAA 1465, was the source of 6 C-class events since the last message. It has now stabilized with a beta magnetic configuration. We'll switch the target to NOAA 1459, S16W08. 1459 has added a few more spots and increased its magnetic complexity to beta-gamma. C-class events are possible with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. In addition to 1459, NOAA regions 1460,1462,1463, and 1465 have the potential to produce C-class events with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event. The position of NOAA 1459 on April 21 at 15:00 UT is: S16W08 (Solar X = 128", Solar Y = -183") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
