Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 24 Apr 2012 08:49:05 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1465 increased its penumbral area. 1465 is a "self-contained" region with almost all umbrae within a single large penumba but the opposite polarities are too far apart to qualify as a complex magnetic delta configuration. C-class events expected with a chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1465 on April 24 at 11:00 UT is: S18W07 (Solar X = 110", Solar Y = -219") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
