MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is very low. NOAA 1484 is mostly unchanged within its trailing portion but has decayed within its leading portion. 1484 is maintaining weak mixed polarities and is currently the brightest plage on the visible disk. A C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 1484 on May 22 at 15:00 UT is: N10W39 (Solar X = 589", Solar Y = 187")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
