MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The east limb target was the source of several C-class events in the past 24 hour period. The largest was a C2.5 event at 05/31/15:36 UT. The target area includes a young region with a beta magnetic configuration located just west of the east limb passage of the return of old NOAA 1476. Additional C-class events expected with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The approximate position of NE limb target on May 31 at 15:30 UT is: N13E80 (Solar X = -909", Solar Y = 215")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
