Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 11493 has grown in spot area and number of spots, although this may be due to rotating further onto the solar disk. 11493 has maintained a beta/D-type sunspot group classification and has produced low-level C-class activity. A small bipolar region has emerged in the last 24 hours to the South of the main trailing (positive) spot of NOAA 11493, with the new spots growing in area. C-class activity is expected, with a small chance for an isolated low M-class event if flux emergence continues.

The position of NOAA region 11493 on 2-Jun-2012 at 11:30 UT is:

N14E43, ( -624", 235" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
