Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 5 Jun 2012 18:12:26 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA region 11496 appears to be in decay, having decreased in spot area coverage over the last two days. A newly numbered region lies to the South between NOAA regions 11493 and 11496 and is designated as 11501. The large trailing positive spot of 11493 will be the new target given the proximity of the regions and their likelihood for interaction. C-class events are expected in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 11493 on 5-Jun-2012 at 17:00 UT is: N13W01, ( 22", 215" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
