Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 7 Jun 2012 11:56:08 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Yesterday's target NOAA 11493 has decreased in spot area while maintaining number of spots and a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group classification. Today's target will switch to NOAA 11494, a beta/C-type sunspot group with opposite polarity spots in close proximity to the primary positive spot. This region has produced several C-class events since the last message and an M2.1 flare on 6-Jun-2012 at 19:54 UT. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for another low M-class event. The position of NOAA 11494 on 7-Jun-2012 at 11:00 UT is: S18W12, ( 188", -295" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
