Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Yesterday's target region NOAA 11494 has decreased marginally in both spot area and number of spots in the past 24 hours, but has increased in complexity to a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group class. This region has continued to produce flares with the largest being a C7.7 event on 8-Jun-2012 at 02:51 UT. Further C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for a low M-class event if the degree of polarity mixing increases.

The position of NOAA 11494 on 8-Jun-2012 at 14:30 UT is:

S18W27, ( 408", -297" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
