Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 10 Jun 2012 10:28:51 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Newly numbered region NOAA 11504 has rotated over the South East limb. This region has a beta/C-type sunspot group classification, but is too close to the limb to accurately determine its magnetic configuration. NOAA 11504 has produced three M-class flares in the past 24 hours, the largest being an M1.9 on 9-June-2012 at 11:20 UT. C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for further M-class events. The position of NOAA 11504 on 10-Jun-2012 at 09:30 UT is: S17E62, ( -798", -280" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
