Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 12 Jun 2012 12:08:46 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Yesterday's target region NOAA 11504 decreased in spot area, but increased in number of spots and complexity in the past 24 hours. This region is now classified as a beta/E-type sunspot group and has produced 2 C-class events since the yesterday's message. Closely neighboring regions 11504 and 11505 both appear to be still in flux emergence phase, developing mature penumbra around several spots. C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class event if flux continues to emerge within 11504. The position of NOAA 11504 on 12-Jun-2012 at 11:00 UT is: S17E34, ( -506", -287" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
