Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 19 Jun 2012 10:06:36 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA region 11504 continues in decay phase, losing area coverage and number of spots in the last 24 hours. Some of these changes might be due to NOAA 11504 rotating towards the solar limb, but the Southern trailing spot has significant fragmentation of its penumbra. Despite this, 11504 has retained a beta/E-type sunspot group classification. C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated M-class event. The position of NOAA 11504 on 19-Jun-2012 at 09:00 UT is: S17W57, ( 758", -290" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
