Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Quiescent solar conditions continue. The largest event since the last message was a C2.8 flare at 05:51 UT today from NOAA 11539; a plage region rotating on to the disk on the southeast limb. The target region NOAA 11538 continues to show signs of growth but retains its beta configuration. Further low-level activity expected. If possible also include NOAA 11539 in your field of view.

The position of NOAA 11538 on 3-Aug-2012 at 09:00 UT is:

S23E38, ( -536", -440" )
