Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2012 09:57:51 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, A new region set to appear on the southeast limb has been the source of several intermediate level flares today, including an M1.6 at 04:33 UT, and shall be the new target region. Given that the region is largely occulted the actual magnitude of these flares is likely to be significantly higher. Activity is expected to increase over the next 24 hours as the region rotates on to the visible disk. The position of the target region on 6-Aug-2012 at 09:00 UT is: S14E87, ( -916", -233" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
