Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11548 has continued to maintain spot area, number of spots, and a beta/C-type sunspot group class. Although NOAA 11548 has recently only produced B-class events, this region will remain the target due to its compact population of coronal loops that are bright across a range of temperatures. B-class activity is probable, with a chance for C-class events.

The position NOAA 11548 on 23-Aug-2012 at 12:30 UT is:

N18E11, ( -175", 184" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
