Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 26 Aug 2012 14:37:59 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11554 has grown in spot area coverage since yesterday's initial NOAA designation and has maintained a beta/D-type sunspot group class. A new region has rotated over the NE limb and is designated as NOAA 11555. This region appears to have the largest spot area on disk, but today's target will remain as 11554 due to past flaring history. B-class activity is probable, with a chance for low C-class events. The position of NOAA 11554 on 26-Aug-2012 at 14:00 UT is: N16W08, ( 123", 149" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
