Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 27 Aug 2012 09:52:56 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The regions on the visible solar disk are stable. The target will switch to the northeastern limb area to a region rotating onto the disk. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it was the source of a few B-class events and a low level C-class event since the last message. Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period. The approximate position of the target on August 27 at 9:30 UT is: N11E86 (Solar X = -931", Solar Y = 172") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
