Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 3 Sep 2012 10:59:41 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target region NOAA 1560, N03W25, has decayed somewhat and was the source of only one C-class event but is maintaining an E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. NOAA 1564, S15E33, is growing and has produced several C-class events in the past 24 hours. 1564 is currently classified as a D-type/beta region but is the brightest H-alpha plage on the disk. We'll switch to 1564 today. Additional C-class activity expected. The position of NOAA 1564 on September 03 at 17:00 UT is: S15E33 (Solar X = -414", Solar -344") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
