Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2012 09:52:10 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1564 has decayed significantly losing some spots and penumbral area and magnetic complexity. It is now classified as a D-type/beta region. It was able to produce C-class events in the past 24 hours. Additional C-class activity possible with an isolated M-class event now less likely in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1564 on September 05 at 13:00 UT is: S14E06 (Solar X =-096", Solar Y = -345") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
