Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 6 Sep 2012 09:14:28 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target region NOAA 1564, S14W07, is mostly unchanged and continues to be the source of C-class activity. The largest x-ray event in the past 24 hours was an isolated impulsive M1.6 at 09/06/04:30 UT. The source region was NOAA 1560. 1560 (E-type/beta-gamma classification) has also produced numerous C-class events since the last message. We'll switch target regions from 1564 to 1560 for the next 24 hour period. C-class events probable with the chance of another isolated M-class event. The position of NOAA 1560 on September 06 at 13:00 UT is: N04W66 (Solar X = 868", Solar Y = 017") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
