Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 24 Sep 2012 10:01:06 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 11575 has remained inactive since the last message and has begun to show signs of decay. A new region rotating on to the south east limb was the source of a long duration C1.7 flare at 15:02 UT yesterday and shall be the new target region. The flare was concurrent with a large scale CME observed in LASCO images indicating possible increased activity over the next 24 hours as the region rotates onto the disk. The approximate position of the new target region on 24-Sep-2012 at 09:00 UT is: S07E78, ( -929", -140" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
