MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A new region located beyond the northeast limb was the source of an occulted M2.3 event at 10/08/11:17 UT. It is possible that this new region will produce another M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The approximate position of the target on October 08 at 11:15 UT is: N15E88 (Solar X = -928", Solar Y = 244")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
