MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The northeastern limb region has now rotated partially onto the visible disk. It is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but the region has large leading sunspots and bright plage. This region was the source of C-class events as was a region located beyond the southeast limb at approximately S27. Both regions appear capable of producing an M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

The position of the target on October 09 at 13:00 UT is: N14E86 (Solar X = -931", Solar Y = 224")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
