Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 5 Jan 2013 10:25:03 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Despite its beta-gamma-delta configuration and continued growth, NOAA 11640 has remained quiescent as it approaches the western limb. A new, as yet unnumbered, active region behind the northeastern limb was the source of an M1.7 flare at 09:26 UT today and shall be the new target region. The region's magnetic configuration is unknown at this time but further C-level activity is likely over the next 24 hours with a chance for another isolated M-class flare. The position of the target region on 5-Jan-2013 at 10:00 UT is: N20E88, ( -916", 335" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
