Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2013 09:37:50 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1654 continues to display a large F-type/beta-gamma sunspot group and bright H-alpha plage. The intermediate portion of the region has mixed polarities. Although 1654 has recently only managed to be the source of C-class events, it is possible that it could produce an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1654 on January 15 at 14:00 UT is: N08W13 (Solar X = 218", Solar Y = 211") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
