Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2013 12:34:28 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The x-ray background flux is currently at the B2 level. The target region, NOAA 1660, has a simple D-type/beta sunspot group. It was the source of a couple of minor B-class events in the past 24 hours. No significant flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1660 on January 25 at 18:00 UT is: N10W67 (Solar X = 884", Solar Y = 204") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
