Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2013 08:47:40 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity is very low. The largest x-ray event since the last message was a B7.9 at 02/28/16:01 UT produced by NOAA 1682. 1682 added penumbral area in the past 24 hours but remains a magnetically simple D-type/beta region. B-class events expected with the chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1682 on February 28 at 14:00 UT is: S18W25 (Solar X = 390", Solar Y = -192") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
