Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 4 Mar 2013 14:13:38 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11683 has been re-classified by NOAA as a beta/E-type sunspot group. Yesterday's target near the North East limb is now designated as region 11687 and classified by NOAA as a beta/C-type sunspot group. NOAA 11687 has remained somewhat active, producing the largest flare in the past 24 hours (a B4.4 on 4-Mar-2013 at 06:57 UT). Further B-class activity is expected, with a small chance for a low C-class event. The position of NOAA 11687 on 4-Mar-2013 at 14:00 UT is: N06E57, ( -811", 166" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
