Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 14 Jul 2013 18:02:31 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11785 has rotated up to the Western limb. A new region has rotated over the North East limb, but proximity to the limb prevents an accurate classification. NOAA 11791 has increased in spot area over the past 24 hour period and was the last region to produce notable activity (a C1.4 flare on 13-Jul-2013 at 05:36 UT). This region is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group by NOAA. More C-class events are possible in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 11791 on 14-Jul-2013 at 17:00 UT is: S14E23, ( -354", -292" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
