Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 28 Aug 2013 19:07:11 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The level of solar activity is low. Since the last message, the largest event was a West-limb flare (a B9.0 flare on 27-Aug-2013 at 15:56 UT). Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11835) has shown some signs of spot development in its trailing portion. The region was responsible for a ~B4.0 flare that is currently in progress (peak at around 17:30 UT). Further B class activity is expected with a chance for high B-class events. The position of NOAA 11835 on 28-Aug-2013 at 18:00 UT is: S10E29, ( -456", -266" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
