The visible solar disk is almost spotless. The background x-ray flux is currently flat lined at the B1.5 level. The target will switch from region NOAA 1841 (S05E05) to a region located just beyond the southeastern limb. No significant solar flare activity is expected any time soon. The approximate position of the target on Sept. 16 at 13:00UT is: S14E89 (Solar X = -926", Solar Y = -233") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
