Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 23 Sep 2013 10:21:36 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity is very low. The background x-ray flux is flat- lined at the B2.0 level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a B6.0. Its source region was target region NOAA 1850. 1850 has a C-type/beta sunspot group and is slowly decaying. No significant flare activity is expected anytime soon. The position of NOAA 1850 on Sept. 23 at 15:30 UT is: N10E30 (Solar X = -473", Solar Y = 066") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
