Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 17 Nov 2013 17:59:41 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The current level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target (NOAA 11900) was responsible for multiple C-class events and a M1.0 flare on 17-Nov-2013 at 05:10 UT. Strong negative flux has emerged, adjacent to the large following positive spot in NOAA 11900. This mixed polarity region may merge to form a large delta spot. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a further M-class event. The position of NOAA 11900 on 17-Nov-2013 at 18:00 UT is: S19W52, ( 723", -341" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
